It’s time TO brING
bar tabs into the
21st century
In a world where people are increasingly using their phones to pay for things, the bar industry has been left behind.
In 2025, there still does not exist a universal way for bar patrons to start a tab using only their digital wallet.
We are changing that.
Why leave a credit card with the bar?
-
Really though, why?
Not all bars have modern POS systems. Many are still using old cash registers coupled with a basic swipe terminal.
While some bars can accept tap-to-pay, it’s often inconvenient, and there is no way for patrons to start a tab without a physical card.
-
The Merchant Problem
Bartenders are handling customer’s phones or not allowing digital wallet usage.
Bars are leaving money on the table.
-
The Patron Problem
Drinkers must carry a physical card, rely on a friend, or worse; leave thirsty.
Bar customers are inconvenienced.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
A SIMPLE SOLutioN.
ChecksOn.Me consists of three main components:
The merchant portal
An interface for the patrons
And our network that connects them all to the global payment network
Using cutting edge, event driven architecture and cross-platform development tools, ChecksOn.Me will be available for all.
STEP 1
Connect
Patrons start their digital bar tab by scanning a QR code to pair with the merchant & authorize payment.
STEP 2
MANAGE
The bartender submits a final total for payment and the patron’s card is charged.
STEP 3
RECONCILE
Patrons get an email receipt and bar owners finalize monthly and daily sales with ease in the merchant portal.
STEP 4
ENJOY!
With more ways to pay, both merchants and customers are happy!
Kali, CEO:
“Where others have capitalized on proprietary hardware and expensive subscriptions, we aim to democratize and create a system that everyone can tap into”
We are building an agnostic system integrating with existing POS systems (e.g. Toast, Clover), national payment networks, and offering our own direct network.
We aim to achieve this without significant cost increases for merchants or customers, recognizing the critical importance of margins in the bar business.
